Your main tasks

As a service technician, you play a key role in ensuring the operational reliability of AVISEQ's communication systems for air traffic. You will work with operation, troubleshooting, as well as preventive and emergency maintenance of our radio and communication systems. The work is performed both on-site at Visby Airport and in the field at nearby airports. On-call duty and overnight stays may be included in the position.

You can also develop in several technical areas such as navigation systems, meteorological equipment, IP networks, and radar systems. AVISEQ offers the necessary training and certification for these specialized systems.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical background, either through a three-year vocational education in technology or a bachelor's degree in engineering. You preferably have experience in radio technology, both analog and digital electronics as well as mechanics. Previous work with telecommunication systems is a significant advantage. You are accustomed to working with PC-based support systems and following technical instructions. Experience with radio, airport, or aviation systems as well as electrical knowledge is meritorious.

As the position is security classified, Swedish citizenship, completed background checks, and a requirement for approved security clearance are necessary.

As a person, you are

technically interested, meticulous, and self-driven. You take responsibility, act solution-oriented, and communicate clearly. You work systematically, have a good understanding of documentation and quality, and thrive in an environment where safety is crucial. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a valid B driver's license.
